Is was our aim at BAPS to secure a premises and open a SUPPORT CENTRE for families experiencing Autism but along the journey we discovered SO MANY MORE FAMILIES need support. We welcomed Children with intellectual disabilities and global developmental delays who wanted to avail of social activities and make new friends in a fun, relaxed and most importantly an environment of acceptance and awareness.

Jack & Friends opens its doors at the end of January to families and children with developmental disabilities.

Some of the supports available:
  • Subsidised through Fundraising and affordable Occupational Therapy referral.
  • Subsidised through Fundraising and affordable Early Intervention Therapy referral.
  • Social Skill Groups.
  • Sensory Groups.
  • Free advice and support to parents on the following:
    • How to access diagnosis and support on the road ahead.
    • Entitlements and form filling assistance/applications.
    • School Applications advice, support and form filling assistance. 
  • Public Drop In advice and support Clinic on selective days. (TBC)
  • Parent & Professional training and workshops.
